Unveiling the Success of CHELO's Annual Fundraiser: A Night of Masked Fun and Community Support

On Friday, 7th March, CHELO's annual fundraising event took place at Hout Bay International School, showcasing a vibrant community spirit and commitment to an important cause. The event aimed to raise funds to provide educational opportunities for local children. With several activities planned, the night promised entertainment and meaningful contributions.

The event had a striking masquerade ball theme, inviting attendees to choose their own mask from a variety provided. As guests arrived, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation and excitement for the unique entertainment lined up for the evening.

One of the standout features of the evening was the variety of entertainment options available. Attendees were captivated by jugglers who wowed both children and adults with their stunning performances. These skilled entertainers added a whimsical touch to the event, ensuring unforgettable moments for all.

Guests also enjoyed thrilling experiences like an inflatable rocket launcher that sent participants soaring to new heights. Another highlight was the High School VIP area, which provided older attendees a private club to listen to music, unwind and socialise.

Food was another significant attraction, featuring diverse stalls that catered to various tastes. Guests relished everything from gourmet snacks to satisfying meals, creating an inviting atmosphere that celebrated community bonding.

Live Music and Vibrant Energy

Live music brought a dynamic energy to the event, with a local band performing popular hits that had guests swaying to the rhythm. As the music flowed, moments of joy and laughter were seen, setting the perfect backdrop for fundraising efforts.

With every ticket sold and donation received, guests were reminded of their collective impact toward enabling thirteen children each year to attend world-class educational institution. This year, CHELO saw an increase in ticket sales compared to last year, showcasing the community's growing commitment to this vital cause.
